Pasadena Restaurants & Shopping
Old Town Pasadena, whose epicenter is the intersection of Fair Oaks Ave. and Colorado Blvd., is listed in the Natural Register of Historic Places. The popular shopping district has retained its original turn-of-the-century look, and has become a shopping and dining paradise, attracting locals and tourists alike to its hundreds of eateries, shops and boutiques. Among the many chain stores located in Old Town are Crate & Barrel, Abercrombie & Fitch, Barnes & Noble and Sur la Table.
Less than two miles east of Old Town Pasadena is Lake Avenue, where between Colorado Blvd and California Avenue you'll find an array of fine restaurants, stores and designer boutiques. Macy's, Ann Taylor, Smith & Hawken and Williams-Sonoma are just a few of the upscale shops along the avenue.
West of Lake Ave, and east of Old Town is the Paseo Colorado. Located appropriately on Colorado Blvd., this shopping mall covers three city blocks, and incorporates office space, shops, bistros, movie theaters and 400 condominiums.
